Hey folks, sorry for the late update. July turned into an insanely busy time at the day job with immense amounts of overtime. That said, work on this project was not idle, it just didn't get to where it should have. Also, the layout is nearly done. I am on vacation as of tomorrow, and will be sitting on the deck of a cabin on the beach with the laptop completing the layout work. I figure, witout the day job getting in the way, this will be done by or before my vacation is over. Then it will be loaded up to Drivethru RPG and you will be sent PDF copies of your rewards. From there I will open up the pledge manager for shipping and add on purposes, and a couple weeks worth of additional preorders as well, for any that may have missed the Kickstarter. After all surveys are complete and we have a couple weeks of pre-orders in (or not as the case may be) the physical books will be ordered!
Here are some sample pages from the Shadowdark version. NOTE, page numbers may change as a few of the new creatures have yet to be inserted into the master document.

Big June Update!

Hey everyone!
We have a fairly large update regarding progress on each of the three books! Without further ado, here we go!
As of now the status of each book stands at:
Creature Companion: SD Edition: Writing is complete and turned in for all conversions. Editing for writing is complete.- This will be going into layout within the next week. Any required stat block/ability editing will be done along side layout.
CC SD 8 Stretch Goal Creatures: Writing and conversions are complete and in hand. editing for writing is complete. - To be added to the book during layout.
Lesser Gods for SD: Writing and conversions are complete. Heading into layout as soon as the core book is done.
CC OSE Edition Revised Printing: Writing is complete on the core book and 8 stretch goal monsters. Editing is complete on both as well. This will go into layout for the new edition after the 2 SD books are complete in layout.
I estimate layout to be complete within 2 - 3 weeks. At that time all backers will receive PDF copies of any items they had backed via DTRPG, sent to the email they used for Kickstarter.
Also, once layout is complete we will be getting final estimations of print quotes from the 3 printers we have nailed down to quote these books. Once we have these we will open up Backerkit. Backerkit will have add ons and there will be a Preorder store for those that did not get to take part in the Kickstarter. We recognize that we ran this KS shortly after the holidays, which makes it difficult for some folks to back. This will be open for 2-3 weeks (read as until backers have completed surveys.) Even if you are an initial backer and receive copies via DTRPG, you will receive PDFs from Backerkit as well. This way anyone who does not use DTRPG will get their digital copies, one way or another.
Once we have updated printing quotes/lead times in hand I will make an announcement on when we can expect to begin shipping physical product!
In the coming weeks, as I work through layout, I will share some of the page spreads here in our updates!

Hey folks!
At this time we have the writing/rules complete for all initial creatures for both versions of the book. This week the OSE versions of the 8 new monsters came back from final edit. Those have gone to Taylor for conversion to Shadowdark.
We also have all of the Shadowdark versions of the Petty Gods complete!
Will all of this, we are looking great to have these out around the summer release we had originally esitmated.

Hello all,
Things are progressing on track.
Core book
SD version - all writing complete (less stretch goal monsters)
OSE version - all writing complete
Lesser gods - currently being translated to Shadow Dark (note, there is no OSE version of this book and it is a KS exclusive.)
8 New monsters
SD version - to be given to Taylor next week (week of March 18th)
OSE version 0 writing nearly complete
So, all of this said we are on schedule for the summer delivery on these.

I would like to thank you all for making this project come to life!
As of now, the core test and conversions are complete. The lore is already edited from the previous edition.
By the end of the month I will have the 8 additional creatures to Taylor for conversion.
This week Taylor will be receiving the text for the Lesser Gods for conversion.
All of this said, 6 backers have errored payments that must be fixed by Thursday. Please get your payments fixed so that they may be processed.
